I'm a big stand-up comedy fan.
Now, that statement seems like nothing special to me. Who doesn't enjoy a good laugh? I love watching episodes of Comedy Central Presents (especially when I'm tired, so it's extra funny), and I'm one of the five people that shows up regularly to Comedy Caravan here at WVU.
Now, I'll admit, it's pretty easy to get me to laugh... How else would I be able to last at Comedy Caravan all these years? Really, the only jokes I don't like are the drug references... I don't care how bad you've got the munchies... That and the comedians who sing... Singing is where comedy acts go to die. I've seen it happen so many times, I automatically cringe when the musical instruments come out.... And then probably leave.
It just seems like that's something you never hear anyone talk about, so I wonder if everyone is as entertained by it as I am. Maybe if Morgantown had it's own comedy club, there'd be more of an interest, since it's hard to drag sober people to the Mountainlair on a Thursday night. Or, hey, maybe everyone is just a closet fan... It's not like stand-up comedy the most interesting conversation piece (kinda like this post... Can you tell?), so people might just never talk about it.
What I'd really like to do is go to a real comedy club some day, like the the Funny Bone or something; you know, break out of this college tour stuff and get into the real world of comedy. Maybe I'll plan a trip...

We went to the Funny Bone last month for Mike's girlfriend's birthday. They have a 2 drink minimum.
That's when you go with someone like Joe who would gladly take care of your two...
I'm in Justin. They've occasionally got someone who catches my eye. Steve Byrne (from PIT) is pretty good and he's there sometimes
